MSW Graduate Student, Alec Butterfield, has recently received the opportunity to become a University of Michigan Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow. Alec will begin his fellowship with the Department of Psychiatry upon his graduation in December 2021.

The fellowship is a two year long program, that will provide rigorous training in clinical assessments, treatment planning and variety of evidence based practices. In addition, the program also offers on going supervision so fellows can obtain clinical social work licensing through the fellowship. This is considered “one of the nation’s foremost programs for training leaders in the field.”
